Gulshan Club

At the heart of Gulshan Club is the collective kinship amongst its Members. Founded in 1978, GCL prides itself for being more than just a club, but a home away from home. The Club was set up on the belief that life is best spent in the company of loved ones, and it is presently the only family club in Bangladesh. Governing administrations, throughout the years, have been working relentlessly strengthening the bond and fellowship of its Members, as well as bringing families closer together through arts, culture, sports and various initiatives and events.

From The Desk of President

Dear Honorable Member,

Assalamu Alaikum.

As President of the Gulshan Club Limited, it is a great honor for me and the Board of Directors to welcome you to our website. The Club celebrated 44 years in 2022, and as we head into the new year, it is wonderful to have you all on-board to enjoy the Club in all its glory.

I would like to thank the founding Presidents, Directors, Members and Club Officials for their hard work, commitment and dedication they have undertaken across the years to position the Club where it stands today. I am lucky to have many past Club Presidents to turn to for guidance this year.

The recent elections gave us a very clear mandate for change and it is my joy to be leading the Club with our Club’s dedicated Board of Directors and Members. We will use our term in office to focus on taking the Club to new heights. We are already in the process of re-aligning the Club’s facilities and services to provide a better experience for Members’ families. The Club will focus on the elements that made the Club great and a place that Members regard as a ‘Second Home,’ with facilities they enjoy along with the Club’s sporting and cultural programs. Among other elaborate facilities, the State-of-the-Art accommodation, The Residence, in now open to Members and Guests. We welcome you to experience the hospitality in an atmosphere of timeless elegance and comfort.

I send a special “thank you” to President Capt. Saifur Rahman and his Board. They have proved over and over that that the Pandemic can’t get in the way of the spirit of the Gulshan Club. Their enthusiasm and determination kept our club vibrant, relevant and together during the last two pandemic years.

Please visit our website and remain in touch with the Club to strengthen our ties as Members of a Family Club. You will remain abreast with necessary information that will be of your concern and information regarding all events and activities held throughout the year. Mine, the Board of Director’s and the Secretary’s doors are always open to Member inputs and suggestions so the Club can be improved and made a more enjoyable experience for everyone. I look forward to building on the successes of our Former Presidents, with all of your support.

Wishing you all good health and success in 2022.

Warm regards,

Rafiqul Alam (Helal)
